Our puzzles have just had a new addition! Welcome to our Mindfulness A to Z.
Mindfulness is bringing yourself back to the present moment, being aware of your senses, thoughts and emotions in that moment and not letting your thoughts run away to the "what ifs". Teaching children mindfulness skills from an early age is significantly improves their performance academically, socially and emotionally. Part of the reason for this is that mindfulness helps build neurological pathways in the brain that promote focus and cognitive control.
This puzzle promotes language and literacy skills, encourages observational skills and discussion and also develops hand eye coordination.
